In many ways the  BMX bike is at the core of the global cycling community.  For many of us, it was the first bike we had  growing up as children… marking the beginning of our freedom from the constraints of walking.  For the hardcore teenager, it has always been a great alternative to the skateboard…  and serves as an affordable form of transportation.  BMX bikes were, and continue to be, one of the simplest bikes available… usually one brake, no gears, no suspension… and they take a hell of a beating.  The sport of BMX racing has often been the launch pad for some of the worlds best mtn bike freeriders and downhill racers… and now it is an official Olympic sport.  That’s a whole lot for such a simple bike!  Oh yeah… we love BMX bikes at Venture Gear… drop by and see why!
